In his role as fund accountant at Midloch, Reid is an integral part of the accounting team in matters of financial analysis, the review of monthly financial statements and the coordination of annual audits and tax filings. Prior to working at Midloch, Reid spent half a decade in public accounting where he audited universities, worked in fund administration for 9 billion in real estate funds, and prepared tax returns for partnerships as well as 1040's for ultra high net worth individuals. Reid has worked as a fund accountant for funds with a variety of real estate asset classes and investment structures where he prepared monthly financials, worked alongside audit teams and calculated IRR.
Reid is also a critically acclaimed classical musician. Orchestras and choruses he has prepared and conducted have been praised by The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Classical Review and Operas News alike. Reid serves as treasurer on the board of Lyric Opera Stage Artists. He holds degrees from Cleveland Institute of Music and Case Western Reserve
