Sam joined Midloch in 2023 as the Controller. Prior to joining Midloch, Sam was Vice President of Accounting & Asset Management for Oxford Capital Group, LLC, a national real estate investment, development, and management firm. His responsibilities included preparing cash projections, maintaining compliance with debt and equity agreements, performing treasury and investor relations functions for ground-up development assets, and preparing consolidated financial statements. He began his career in public accounting in the audit practice at KPMG, where he focused primarily on real estate investment clients. Sam is a certified public accountant and holds a BS in Accounting and Economics from DePaul University. He is also a board member for the Chicago Furniture Bank, a non-profit whose mission is to provide dignity, stability, and comfort to Chicagoans that face poverty by allowing clients to handpick an entire home’s worth of furnishings for free. Outside of work, Sam enjoys hiking and spending time with his family.
