Tyler joined Midloch in 2026 as a Managing Director of Investor Relations, leading the firm's West Coast investor relationships and opening its San Diego office.
Prior to Midloch, Tyler was responsible for building relationships with current and prospective investors at MG Properties, a San Diego-based multifamily investment firm. Previously, Tyler spent about a decade at RealCrowd, a Y Combinator-backed online equity syndication and crowdfunding platform. He was the company's first hire and served as VP of Investor Relations and Marketing, leading the digital investment platform across content and production and helping grow its investor base to more than 25,000 investors. He also built RealCrowd's investor education platform and produced and co-hosted the RealCrowd Podcast, which ranked in the top 2% of podcasts globally.
Tyler holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Oregon State University with a focus on marketing. Outside of the office, Tyler is fueled by good coffee, long runs, and a never-ending quest to perfect homemade pizza. He and his wife live in San Diego, where they enjoy playing with their two young kids.
